Southern Roofing is a family owned roofing company, operated by Thomas Armstrong, and serving the Northwest Louisiana region including Shreveport, Bossier City, Benton, Minden, Mansfield and the surrounding area. The company was started after coming to the realization that customers in this part of the state have very few choices when it comes to having quality roof work, as well as general roof maintenance work performed on their home. We take a great deal of pride in our work.
People often ask if I'm just a business owner or if I've ever actually roofed. Well, I roofed my first house more than 20 years ago and have been roofing ever since. In 2013, following a stint with another local company, I made the decision to open Southern Roofing. Why did I start Southern Roofing? The answer is really simple; it just didn't seem right that there were, and are, so few roofing companies in Shreveport/Bossier that strive to be honest with their customers and do quality work. Seeing the need for my neighbors to have someone honest, who is insistent upon quality work is what gave birth to Southern Roofing. After more than 20 years of roofing and remodeling, it is safe to say that I have seen a lot of changes. One of the biggest changes has been the loss of pride that companies have in their work.
